I started going to Acadia National Park when I was about 10. It was my first experience with a national park. Ranger walks there taught me so much about geology, flora, and fauna. It started me on a lifetime of visiting parks across the country. I took my children, and they now take their children. My favorites now are Olympic Nat'l Park and North Cascades, since I live in WA now.
