This was my first time backpacking and camping in the Yosemite back country. Before this experience, I had no idea what I was missing by only staying in the valley. While hiking towards our campsite, I thought the sun was rising to my left because of how bright it was. But it was the sunset reflecting off a sheer mountain and onto the lake in front of it. Never in my life had I seen such a beautiful and serene scene.
