At the age of 10 I got my hands on a travel guide for Montana, there was a photo of GNP in it….I was hooked, it’s been number one on my must see list for over 40 years. Two weeks ago that dream came true when my husband and I took our first vacation together since our disabled son was born 11 years ago. He requires 24/7 care and many days are long days as he is not a good sleeper. Out lives are filled with stress, dr appointments, therapy sessions, not to mention house work and our jobs. Our oldest child offered to keep her little brother for a week for use to have a vacation as she was not attending college this summer. I can’t tell you how in Awe I was of the park. It was beyond my imagination beautiful. We had a great time, we spent 7 days in the park hiking, boating, horseback riding and taking many photos while enjoying the many views. We saw Moose, Wolf, Grizzly, Mt Goats, Big Horn Sheep, Marmots, and Ground Squirrels. The weather was perfect and the sky could not have been any more beautiful of a shade of blue dotted with awesome white puffy clouds. I hope to visit GNP again someday as well as The Grand Tetons.
