Greetings from Glacier National Park

When on the U.S. side of Glacier Park, I had an harrowing experience! I was with two other friends and we were hiking a trail. When we were on a slope going down, and I was on the top, I saw two grizzlies - a brown sow and a beige cub - ahead of us. I yelled “Bear!” to warn my friends ahead, the first who was carrying Bear Spray. The cub reached up and scratched a tree and in a little while, they both went up into the wooded hill! Later, the Rangers put up a sign after we told them of what happened, to warn hikers that bear had been seen on that trail!

Sincerely,
Tina
