This June marks NPCA’s fifth annual Pride in Our Parks, and we’re inviting the LBGTQ+ community to join us for an event to celebrate and connect with other park lovers as part of our work to ensure parks are equitable and accessible to all.

What: A day celebrating and connecting with LGBTQ+ park lovers
On June 14, join NPCA for a Pride in Our Parks event! We’re heading to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation area, just outside of Los Angeles. We’ll spend the morning hiking in the park, volunteering to support the park’s native plants and learning more about the importance of ensuring that parks like Santa Monica Mountains are protected for all to visit and enjoy.
With our partner, Underwood Wine, we’re inviting the LBGTQ+ community to this free half-day event as part of our work to ensure that parks are equitable, accessible places for all to explore.
This event is completely free! NPCA will also provide lunch; just be sure to bring plenty of water and whatever else you need to have a good, safe time on trail.
