Future of the Claude Moore Colonial Farm Open House

Claude Moore Colonial Farm needs a vision for its future ... speak up at a National Park Service open house on April 25.

Located just 11 miles from Washington, D.C., along the George Washington Memorial Parkway, Turkey Run Park boasts beautiful hiking trails and, until recently, hosted the Claude Moore Colonial Farm. The agreement between the National Park Service (NPS) and the Friends of Claude Moore Colonial Farm expired in December, however, leaving this 69-acre site open for new ideas.

The NPS wants to hear from you! What would be the best future use of this land? Should there be a trails system, a natural site, a new farm or something else? Join the conversation on April 25 at the NPS-hosted open house and share your vision.
