See Change: Climate in National Parks

Join us for this special evening of dialogue and art hosted by the European Union.

A conversation between former U.S. Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewel and Vice President for the Energy Union, European Commission, Maros Sefcovic will kick off the evening. The program will continue with thoughts from park and climate experts as they detail the very real challenges facing national parks around the world as a result of climate change.

NPCA’s Senior Vice President of Conservation Programs, Mark Wenzler, will be moderating the second half of the program, “Science, Nature and Life: Understanding and Confronting Global Climate Change in our National Parks.”

A viewing of “See Change” will conclude the night. The images in this photo gallery exhibit starkly reveal the toll to national parks’ glaciers, coral reefs and forests around the world.

We’re thrilled that NPCA supporters and friends will have the opportunity to attend this memorable event.
