Miami Speaker Series

Join us for a panel discussion to learn about the national parks in your backyard, such as Everglades and Biscayne, and how decisions made on Capitol Hill might affect them.

During this FREE event sponsored by Nature Valley, NPCA’s regional and government affairs staff will discuss the current state of national park policy. They’ll address the various threats that face America’s favorite places, from the shifting political landscape to hurricanes, and they’ll stick around to take your questions.

The night’s panelists include:

  • John Adornato, Senior Director, Sun Coast Regional Office

  • Ani Kame'enui, Director of Legislation and Policy

  • Alan Spears, Cultural Resources Director

Closing remarks will be given by Sun Coast Regional Council Member, Irela Bagué.

Join us for appetizers and mingling with fellow park advocates and then stick around for what’s sure to be an interesting conversation.
