Since joining NPCA in 2016, Vonda has focused her work on developing a warm, relationship-focused approach to donor engagement and legacy giving.
Additionally, building meaningful connections with Mather Legacy Society members and supporting donors as they explore ways to leave lasting impacts on the national parks they love. She has helped guide individuals through bequests, charitable gift annuities, beneficiary designations, and other planned giving options, offering thoughtful stewardship and clear, accessible information.
Vonda collaborates closely with colleagues across Finance, Legal, Membership, and Development to support smooth processes, accurate gift documentation, and coordinated outreach. She also helps shape annual planned giving strategies and leads marketing and prospecting efforts to broaden NPCA’s legacy giving community.
Her work is grounded in care, clarity, and a shared commitment to ensuring NPCA has the long-term support needed to protect the national park’s natural and cultural resources for generations to come.
Vonda currently resides in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with her husband and many beloved family members. In her spare time, she enjoys park walks, community outreach events, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
