As Senior Foundation Relations Manager, Megan helps create and manage a successful foundation fundraising program on behalf of NPCA’s national and regional programs.

Her portfolio spans diagonal coasts and includes the Pacific, Southwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, as well as Energy (oil/gas/mining) funders.

Megan joined NPCA in 2024 and is delighted to bring 20 years of nonprofit development experience in service to the parks. With a heart for history and the outdoors, she studied archaeology at California State University, Chico and served for three seasons as an NPS Interpretive Ranger in Chaco Canyon National Historical Park in northern New Mexico.

Inspired to encourage others to support saving what matters, Megan transitioned to fundraising for local and national nonprofits with bold visions, including Turtle Bay Exploration Park and Best Friends Animal Society. Prior to joining NPCA, she served with Community Foundation of the North State, supporting tribes, land trusts, watershed councils, museums, and other nonprofits through funding partnerships.

Growing up in the mountains of far northern California, Megan is most at home in the great outdoors. In her spare time, you can find her and her husband hiking, paddleboarding, snowshoeing and foraging between the Redwoods and Mt. Shasta.
