- NPCA Region: Alaska Sun Coast Northwest
As Foundation Relations Manager, Kori helps create and manage a successful foundation fundraising program alongside her colleagues on the Foundation Relations team. She manages foundation grants for the Northwest, Alaska, and Sun Coast Regional Offices along with our Veteran and Community engagement programs.
Kori joined NPCA in 2024 after 7 years with Central Oregon LandWatch, a small, regional environmental and land use watchdog organization based in Bend, Oregon, where she currently lives. There she lovingly wore many hats and built skills that prepared her well for the big time!
Kori works toward environmental goals with optimism and joy in the abundance that Earth and our fellow humans have to offer us. She believes that national parks represent the best of America when they preserve our majestic natural resources, honor the truth of the past, and when all people see themselves, their history, and their future represented in national parks.
She holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Regis University and a B.A. in Sociology and English from the University of Colorado, Boulder. In her spare time, she listens to Prince and podcasts, reads Dostoevsky, watches the Sopranos, roots for the Denver Nuggets, hangs out with her kid, and loves Chihuahuas and unremarkable looking dogs with storied pasts (and all other maligned creatures of the world).
