Kim joined NPCA in 2014, merging her love of national parks with her expertise in leadership and fundraising.
With over 20 years of nonprofit experience, Kim began her NPCA career in the Executive Department where she managed volunteer relationships and the CEO’s fundraising portfolio. Prior to accepting the role of Vice President, Kim served as the Deputy Vice President of the Development Department for four years. In addition to her decades of nonprofit work, she is a community volunteer and fundraiser. She dedicates her time to organizations that impact communities she cares deeply about, serving on the boards of SowHope and the ACPMP Research Foundation.
Kim lives in northern Virginia with her husband and three boys, where they spend much of their free time outdoors. She and her family can be found visiting national park sites regularly. She enjoys being outdoors, reading, and practicing yoga and pilates.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of Maryland and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Non-Profit Management from George Mason University.
