My name is Josephine Kalbfleisch and I am currently a senior at Boston University studying International Relations on an Environment & Development and Latin America track. My interest in parks and public spaces comes from a love of the outdoors, birdwatching, and history that began when I was very young. I interned at the NPCA headquarters in Washington DC this past spring and summer under the Cultural Resources department, where I learned more about park advocacy, conservation legislation, and the significant role parks have in storytelling and American history. In my free time, I love hiking, camping, watercoloring, photography, live music, and adventuring in general.
