With more than a decade of fundraising and philanthropy experience, Jarrod enjoys serving the incredible donors and partners who support NPCA.

His history working on behalf of conservation, arts education, and higher-education institutions leverages his professional experience to support the causes that have changed his life. Working on behalf of NPCA is his greatest joy, building authentic relationships with the donors who seek to protect and preserve our national parks.

As an avid bikepacker, backpacker, packrafter, and generally nature-minded, Jarrod has visited at least one national park every year of his life and has been transformed through these experiences. He counts Sequoia and Kings Canyon, Canyonlands, Glacier, and Grand Canyon National Parks amongst his favorites, and seeks to share the majesty of these places with others and inspires them to develop their own connections through personal experiences.

He holds a Bachelors of Music in Trumpet Performance and a Masters of Arts in Nonprofit Management. He and his partner, a climate change scientist and professor, enjoy regular trips to national parks and seek to put into practice the environmental conservation and sustainable resources principles they espouse across all aspects of everyday life.
