
Hyasen is a designer and entomological researcher who is passionate about finding creative solutions to build stronger connections between art and science.
She grew up in Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina but has the most experience in international conservation, where they have observed Monarchs in Mexico, lobbied on Capital Hill with WWF, and been a part of an NSF funded research project in Colombia that focused on the effects of a changing climate on stingless and bumble bees. Hyasen currently study Design, Entomology, and International Studies at North Carolina State University where she is beginning her senior year.
