An avid insect-enthusiast and adventurer, Francesca can be found in and around Washington, DC, exploring nature spots, coaching youth soccer, or reading in the sunshine (with lots of sunscreen!). Her work experience has spanned Monarch butterfly conservation, literacy and youth development, and violence prevention as a trainer and facilitator.
Francesca believes we have something to learn from everyone and loves listening to people from different walks of life. Francesca hails from Colorado and has lived in Texas (birthplace), Iowa (college), and Costa Rica (Peace Corps). Her favorite parks are Maquoketa State Park in Iowa and Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.
