For the past five years, Claire lived and worked in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, where she developed a deep connection to our national parks and the wildlife that depends on them.

Now based in Durham, North Carolina, she remains passionate about protecting public lands and ensuring they thrive for future generations. She finds inspiration and grounding in the outdoors — whether she’s fishing, hiking, or camping. She’s also an avid ceramicist and enjoy creating art that reflects the natural world. These hobbies continue to shape her appreciation for our national parks and drive her commitment to protecting them for future generations. With a strong interest in animal conservation, she’s excited to bring her experiences and energy to the Southeast Young Leaders Council to advocate for the parks and ecosystems that make this region so special.
