Cathleen joined NPCA in the spring of 2017 and brings over 15 years of fundraising experience to her role as the Director of Foundation Relations at NPCA.
Passionate about conservation and the power of philanthropy to drive social change, Cathleen is dedicated to building partnerships that create lasting impact for our parks and communities. She has deep expertise in building and stewarding relationships with foundations and donors, specializing in aligning institutional priorities with donor interests to secure transformative funding opportunities.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and East Asian Studies from Oberlin College and a Master of Public Administration from The George Washington University, where she graduated with honors as a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the global honor society for public affairs and administration.
A native to the DC-Metro Area, Cathleen now lives in Washington DC with her family. Passionate about history and the outdoors, you can usually find her on the weekends chasing her kids around DC’s many parks and museums or visiting national park sites further afield.
