Born and raised in Florida, Caleb Hathaway has spent the past several years becoming accustomed to the hidden natural beauty within his state. By getting connected with nature—and at the same time seeing the massive changes impacting it—Hathaway has aspired to take action and protect the natural resources our nation has to offer. He is currently majoring in Environmental Sciences at the University of North Florida.
By kayaking, fishing, camping, and researching history, Hathaway has grown to greatly appreciate the importance of the National Parks, and through this program, he hopes to learn and grow. He is a published author of two historical-fiction novels and has helped environmental advocacy groups against overdevelopment. Hathaway wishes to pursue his environmental passion both as a career and as a way of life.
