Service Day at Manassas National Battlefield

NPCA is excited to host a day of service on January 15th (inclement weather date of January 22) at the Manassas National Battlefield Park. Please join NPCA staff, along with partners and NPS staff, to participate in service projects including bobwhite quail habitat restoration and trail maintenance efforts.

We will convene at the park at 8:30am, and will conclude work at 12:30pm.

Following the service projects, NPCA will host a discussion and hike about nearby development threats that pose a significant threat to the battlefield. Then we will gather for a picnic lunch at a nearby park picnic area.

Please bring a reusable water bottle and work gloves if you can, and wear closed-toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing. All other needed materials will be provided. If you plan to join our discussion about park threats, it is recommended to pack a lunch. All ages and skill levels welcome. Please reach out to Kyle Hart at khart@npca.org with questions.
