Women of the Wild East invite your to spend a day with us on the Appalachian Trail on July 20.
Come out to Pawling Nature Reserve, dig in and help with a maintenance project and then enjoy an afternoon hike from the Great Swamp to Dover Oak.
WHAT: Wild East Women’s Day on the Appalachian Trail
WHEN: Saturday, July 20, from 9:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Pawling Nature Reserve parking lot on Quaker Lake Road, Pawling, NY 12564
OTHER: This event is limited to women only. Girls under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear sturdy boots and long pants, and bring plenty of water, lunch, and snacks. Tools and gloves will be provided, but you might want rain gear, bug spray, sunscreen and extra layers.
