Salt Marsh Planting

Help us restore wetlands at Gateway National Recreation Area on June 30.

Our partners are hosting a weekend of salt marsh planting at Sunset Cove Park, and we hope you’ll join us.

Urban wetlands like these provide critical wildlife habitat and also serve the function of improving our water quality. Together, we’ll help restore the marshlands by planting.

Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, and come prepared to get dirty. Bringing a reusable water bottle is also recommended.

Space is limited and registration is required. Any volunteer under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
