Public Meetings on Proposed Wyoming Grizzly Hunt

For the first time in more than 40 years, grizzly bears that travel outside of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park could soon be shot, if the state of Wyoming has its way. Attend the meeting nearest you (April 2 – 17) and tell Wyoming officials they must do better.

Wyoming is rushing to open a grizzly bear hunt that could see up to 24 grizzlies killed this fall. And if that’s not bad enough, they’re even proposing to allow some baiting–enticing bears with food and waiting for them to approach for easy kills.

Wyoming Game and Fish is hosting a series of public meetings to gather feedback on their proposed hunting plan.

Tell Wyoming that Yellowstone and Grand Teton grizzlies deserve to be seen—not shot!
