USA Science & Engineering Festival

Come find NPCA to hear about our national parks at the largest Science and Engineering Festival in the country at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

April 7th (10 am- 6 pm) and 8th (10am-4pm)

Join NPCA and our partners to learn about how scientists use camera traps to study wildlife inside and outside national parks! You’ll find out how camera traps work and allow for nature’s only selfies- animals take all the pictures themselves! Test your knowledge of the animals caught taking selfies with this technology and find out how the images are used to help protect wildlife and parks.

Look for us at booth 1054 in the Earth Sciences Pavilion.
