4th Annual Appalachian Trail Day

National Parks Conservation Association, in partnership with the Harlem Valley Appalachian Trail Community (HVATC) and Appalachian Trail Conservancy, invite you to celebrate the Appalachian Trail (AT) with fall activities for the whole family!

Join us for guided and self-guided hikes including a walk to view peak fall foliage with Pete Muroski, a native plants expert and owner of Native Landscapes and Garden Center. Family-friendly activities include sand art with the Dover and Pawling Libraries, pumpkin painting, and a raffle.  Roll up your sleeves and volunteer for a trail maintenance project along the Appalachian Trail boardwalk.

The Sean Gobin and Howard Permut awards will be presented to honorees Vu Nguyen, from The Mission Continues, and Roger Osorio, from Groundwork Hudson Valley, for their significant contributions to the Appalachian Trail and northeast national parks.
