You’re invited to join in a workshop to kick-off the Greater Black Canyon Momentum Initiative, part of a statewide network of gateway community development initiatives. The Momentum Initiative will explore how community leaders, businesses, industries, local governments, and land managers can work together to attract and accommodate future visitation, recreation and growth, while preserving the area’s unique, rural characteristics, and natural resources.
The Greater Black Canyon Area offers unparalleled outdoor experiences, diverse cultures steeped in mining and agricultural traditions, Native American, and striking landscapes and natural features. Considering these assets, surrounding communities are well-positioned to benefit from Colorado’s skyrocketing tourism and recreation industries.
$10 registration fee includes lunch. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.
