Join us next Saturday, March 18, for a small-town fiesta celebrating the desert -- and all its blooming wildflowers!

Ajo has been hosting the Sonoran Shindig for 17 years, and they know how to do it right. This historic mining town’s plaza will be filled with music, dance, food, crafts and a desert photo exhibit. Enjoy the local vendors and lively atmosphere, and then drive a little farther to enjoy incredible wildflowers in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument where abundant winter rains have all but guaranteed an explosion of color this year.

NPCA will be sharing plaza space with other desert conservation groups and land managing agencies, so be sure to swing by our outreach booth to learn what we’ve been doing to advocate for national parks and their protection.
