CONFLUENCE Journey Performance

Summer may be winding down, but concert season is still in full swing. Please join us in Flagstaff for stories and music by indie folk band, The Infamous Flapjack Affair (IFA), with an opening by local musician Matt Miller, baritone guitarist.

This special event is held in conjunction with the Colorado River Days Festival and takes place as part of the filming of the upcoming documentary project, CONFLUENCE, a journey through national parks in the Colorado River Basin.

Leveraging the National Park Service centennial in 2016, CONFLUENCE explores how music, storytelling and national parks can connect a generation of young people—increasingly urban, digital and detached from the natural world—to the critical environmental challenges they’ll be tasked with resolving.

This performance, hosted by NPCA and the Sierra Club’s Grand Canyon Chapter, celebrates the conclusion of the first segment of the film’s production through the Grand Canyon.
