Join NPCA for a volunteer coastal clean-up at De Soto National Memorial on Saturday, July 18, beginning at 9 a.m. This National Park Service-led stewardship event is a great opportunity to help care for one of Florida's national park sites while learning more about the park's unique cultural and natural resources.
Location: 8300 DeSoto Memorial Hwy, Bradenton, FL 34209. Please meet us at the NPS Visitor Reception Tent.
The clean-up will continue until the work is complete, so you’re welcome to stay as long as you’re able.
What to bring:
Water
Snacks
Sunscreen
Bug spray
Hat
Closed-toe shoes
Recommended: Long sleeves and long pants for added sun and insect protection.
No RSVP is required. All ages are welcome; however, participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
If you have any questions, please contact vtrujillo@npca.org.
