The Rainbow Bridge, found in Utah on the beautiful geologic landscape of the Colorado Plateau, is the world’s largest known natural bridge. Formed by the water erosion of the sandstone from the Aztec Canyon Stream, the Rainbow Bridge stands 290 feet tall and is a geologic wonder. It is considered sacred by the area Native American nations that include the Navajo and the Paiute.

If You Go

It is remote and only accessible by guided boat tour on Lake Powell or by trail. There are two trailheads that lead to the bridge.
