Little River Canyon National Preserve begins where the Little River cascades 45 feet down at the Little River Falls. An 11-mile scenic drive takes you past several overlooks into the canyon.

Recreational activities abound in Little River Canyon National Preserve. Fish for trout in the Little River. Ride horseback along shaded trails.  Camp, hike, kayak, and rock climb.
Birdwatchers can cross dozens of species off their life lists, from hawks and herons to scarlet tanagers and indigo buntings.

Bring a picnic and enjoy the views from an overlook or dip your toes in the water at Canyon Mouth Picnic Area. Don your hiking boots and head into the canyon to explore.

Get away from the hustle and bustle at Little River Canyon National Preserve.
