Charitable Solicitation Disclosures

National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is a charitable organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt from taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 53-0225165).

NPCA was formed as a nonprofit corporation in the District of Columbia in 1919. Our purpose is to protect and enhance America’s National Park System for present and future generations. Contributions to NPCA are deductible for federal income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law. The fair market value of an annual subscription to the National Parks magazine is $11.80. NPCA publishes detailed financial summary information as part of our annual reports, financial reports, and IRS Form 990 returns. State-Specific Disclosures

Colorado: Colorado Reg. No. 20023004738. Colorado residents may obtain copies of registration and financial documents from the Secretary of State, 303-894-2680, www.sos.state.co.us.

Florida: Florida Reg. No. CH1077. A COPY OF THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE DIVISION OF CONSUMER SERVICES BY CALLING TOLL-FREE WITHIN THE STATE 1-800-435-7352 (800-HELP-FLA) OR VISITING www.FloridaConsumerHelp.com. Georgia: A full and fair description of charitable programs and activities, and a financial statement consistent with the financial statement required to be filed with the Secretary of State pursuant to Code Section 43-17-5, will be sent upon request.

Illinois: Contracts and reports regarding the National Parks Conservation Association are on file with the Illinois Attorney General.

Kansas: Kansas Reg. No. 21-026495. The annual financial report for the preceding fiscal year is on file with the Secretary of State, 1st Floor, Memorial Hall, 120 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66612.

Maryland: For the cost of copies and postage, documents and information submitted under the Maryland Solicitations Act can be obtained from the Secretary of State, Charitable Division, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401, (800) 825-4510. A copy of the organization’s current financial statement is available on request.

Michigan: Michigan Reg. No. 9726.

Mississippi: The official registration and financial information of the National Parks Conservation Association may be obtained from the Mississippi Secretary of State’s office by calling 1-888-236-6167. Registration by the Secretary of State does not imply endorsement.

Nevada: Contributions may be tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes pursuant to the provisions of Section 170© of the Internal Revenue Code.

New Jersey: INFORMATION FILED WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL CONCERNING THIS CHARITABLE SOLICITATION AND THE PERCENTAGE OF CONTRIBUTIONS RECEIVED BY THE CHARITY DURING THE LAST REPORTING PERIOD THAT WERE DEDICATED TO THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY BY CALLING 973-504-6215 AND IS AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET AT: http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/charfrm.htm. Oregon: Registration in no way constitutes or implies any endorsement, sanction or approval of the solicitation, its purposes, the manner in which it is conducted or the person or organization conducting it, by the Attorney General or any other governmental agency or officer.

Washington: The notice of solicitation as required by the Washington Charitable Solicitation Act is on file with the Washington Secretary of State, and information relating to financial affairs of the National Parks Conservation Association is available from the Secretary of State, Charities Division at 1-800-332-4483 or https://www.sos.wa.gov/charities.

West Virginia: Upon request, the estimated percentage of the money collected which will be applied to the cost of solicitation and administration or how much of the money collected will be applied directly for the charitable purpose will be provided. Wisconsin: A financial statement of the National Parks Conservation Association disclosing assets, liabilities, fund balances, revenue and expenses for the preceding fiscal year will be provided to any person upon request.
