Bears Ears National Monument plays a critical role in the region’s larger, connected ecosystem of protected public lands and national parks, from Grand Staircase-Escalante to Glen Canyon to Canyonlands.

A strong management plan for Bears Ears is critical to ensuring it continues to play a pivotal role in preserving natural soundscapes, views across the landscape, clean air and water and wildlife habitat both in the Monument and the parks.
