Gray wolves were recently removed from the Endangered Species List in the Wyoming, but state officials could allow wolf hunting, including in the Rockefeller Parkway national park site connecting habitat between Yellowstone to Grand Teton. NPCA recently filed a petition opposing this bad policy.

President Obama has officially honored Underground Railroad hero Harriet Tubman and distinguished Buffalo Soldier Charles Young with new monuments in the National Park System. The president also designated Delaware’s first national monument, preserving 1,100 acres along the Brandywine River.
