HOW TO STEM THE BIODIVERSITY LOSS
The National Parks Conservation Association is committed to protecting the national parks, their species, and their ecosystems. To that end, NPCA proposes integrated biodiversity management for the benefit both of the natural environment and of human society.
- Improve science and resource management programs.
- Halt and reverse habitat destruction, fragmentation, and degradation.
- Fight threats from invasive species.
- Implement the Endangered Species Act more proactively.
- Create new parks, expand existing parks, and protect land and water connections.
- Provide the operating funds necessary to support research, resources management, and protection efforts.
Educate, inform, and mobilize the public.
