2008 Schedule for Volunteer Service Events at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens

Description:
Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is located at 1550 Anacostia Avenue NE, Washington, DC 20019. The closest Metro stop is the Deanwood station on the orange line. The Aquatic Gardens has ample, off-street free parking.
Please note: Our events run rain or shine – severe weather cancels.
Pre-registration is not required for participation in service activities at the Aquatic Gardens, but please contact the park at 202/426-6905 to confirm scheduled events.
All volunteers are strongly urged to wear clothing appropriate for the work at hand. That means long sleeve shirts, long pants, and no open toe shoes.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Volunteer check-in will take place inside the interior fence line of the park near the main green house (you’ll know when you see it).

Volunteers will assist Park Service staff with event set-up and break down. No park clean up will take place on 7/19/2007. Volunteer participation may require prior training from Park Service staff.
