How You Can Help

Volunteer for the Parks

NPCA challenges its members to support their local parks by becoming volunteers.  The National Park Service has created a program called Volunteers-In-Parks, or Park VIPs Program.  Volunteers perform a wide range of much needed duties, including acting as campground hosts, providing guided tours, aiding with park construction maintenance, and helping with visitor services.  The opportunities are nearly boundless!  Please visit the National Parks volunteer information page to learn more.

Both our Southeast Regional Office and our Blue Ridge Field Office can always use your help!  If you live near the Knoxville, TN or Asheville, NC areas, please contact Alissa McMahon for local volunteer opportunities with NPCA.  Alissa can be reached either by email amcmahon@npca.org or by phone 865.329.2424 ext 27.
