Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor
The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor runs through five counties in eastern Pennsylvania. Whether you enjoy outdoor activities, local history, water sports, or railroad lore, you’ll find something fun and interesting to do in this scenic, welcoming area.
Look into the depths of the Lehigh Gorge, a National Natural Landmark inside Lehigh Gorge State Park. The Lehigh River below challenges whitewater rafters and rewards trout fishermen.
See the Delaware River from your camp on the banks, over the business end of your fishing rod, or mid-stream from a raft, canoe, or tube.
In winter, choose from a wide variety of popular ski resorts nestled in the Poconos. In any season, take a drive through the quiet countryside, pausing to snap a photo of the mountains or indulge in a tasty meal at a locally run eatery. Perhaps you’ll happen upon one of many local festivals, or glimpse deer, wild turkey, or a bear in the passing woods.
The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor celebrates the past, present, and future of this special corner of Pennsylvania.
