National Park PSA

Ken Burns’ documentary series, “The National Parks: America's Best Idea,” will re-air starting Wed., January 27, on PBS. The film explores the creation of the National Park System and tells the inspiring stories of the American citizens who fought to protect sites we now treasure as part of that system.

But our parks, which will celebrate their 100th anniversary in just six years, continue to face threats such as chronic federal funding shortfalls, air pollution, encroaching development and climate change.

The National Parks Conservation Association has created a radio PSA to raise awareness about the threats facing our parks and encouraging the public to learn how they can help. We hope you will help us get the word out about the great need to protect our parks by running this PSA frequently.
