Learn more by joining nationally renowned economist Ernie Niemi for a presentation about what global warming could cost our state.

Speaker Bio

Ernie Niemi, president and senior policy analyst at ECONorthwest, is a leading expert on the economic impacts of climate change. He recently completed reports on the costs of not taking action on climate change for the states of Washington, Oregon, and New Mexico. Mr. Niemi specializes in applying the principles of cost-benefit analysis, economic valuation, and economic-impact analysis for natural-resource management, economic development, and public-policy decisions. He has presented analytical findings to congressional, judicial, scientific, and professional bodies.

This is the second lecture of a four lecture series.
