Meet Our Staff
Tim Stevens, Regional Director
Tim Stevens opened NPCA’s Yellowstone Field Office in 2004 and currently serves as YFO’s Senior Program Manager. Tim has worked in conservation since 1989 and within the Greater Yellowstone conservation community for 14 years.
Tim is a strong believer in the power of grassroots organizing and working with citizens to help build a voice for conservation of our region’s unmatched natural splendor.
Tim and his wife Amy are raising their three children; Joshua (12), Allison (10) and Eli (6) in Livingston, MT and enjoys playing in the woods and sharing the wonders of nature with his family. Tim likes to hike, bike, raft, camp, run and ski and hunts when he can.
Tim currently serves as the Chair of Restoring Eden, a Christian environmental organization, and coaches soccer in Livingston.
Danielle Blank, Community Outreach Coordinator
As the Community Outreach Coordinator at the Yellowstone Office of National Parks Conservation Association, Danielle believes that Healthy Parks and Healthy Communities go hand in hand, and focuses on engaging gateway community leaders in park protection.
Danielle has a varied background in the environmental arena, including two years with the Presidio Trust in San Francisco as the Sustainability Program Coordinator, focusing on waste reduction and resource conservation in the park.
After a semester with the School For Field Studies in Baja California, Danielle received a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Oberlin College.
Danielle lives in Bozeman Montana, where she spends her free time backpacking, skiing, two- stepping, cooking, and gardening. She spends as much time with family and friends as she can!
Patricia Dowd, Program Manager
Patricia Dowd joined NPCA as Yellowstone Program Manager in July 2009. Prior to NPCA, Patricia worked as a community organizer in Montana and Wyoming. Since 1994, the focus of her work has been in the conservation and progressive non-profit sector.
Patricia has a deep love for Yellowstone and the wildlands that surround our nation’s first national park. She believes our best hope for maintaining and protecting the wildlife and wildlands of Greater Yellowstone is to work with the people who live in the gateway communities outside Yellowstone National Park.
Patricia is a competitive cyclist. She spends her free time on her bike, cooking & eating local food, and hiking, skiing, and exploring the backcountry.
Sarah Janicki, Program Coordinator
Sarah joins the NPCA team as the Northern Rockies Regional Program Coordinator where she is ambitious to help protect and preserve those parks that have had the most profound impact on her life- Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Glacier National Parks. She has spent the last nine years working in the tourism industry just twenty-five miles from the Northern Entrance to Yellowstone, and has been able to explore and share the beauty of the greater Yellowstone ecosystem with family, friends, and visiting guests. With her experience and knowledge of the local communities and economy she is looking forward to contributing to the campaigns of the Northern Rockies Region.
Sarah currently resides just outside of Bozeman, Montana near the Bridger Mountain range. Her hobbies include traveling, trail running, hiking, and enjoying spectacular mountain views with friends and family.
