Virgin Island National Park

A new study commissioned by NPCA and its partners estimates that this park could triple visitation to the region, create thousands of jobs, and generate millions of dollars for local businesses.

EPA: Protect the Parks from Haze

In December, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed an exception to its air pollution standards that would allow 28 states in the eastern U.S. to avoid compliance, including egregious polluters that contribute to haze problems. NPCA's new report, Cleaning Up the Haze: Protecting People and America's Treasured Places, recommends that the proposed exception is rejected to ensure that our country's most iconic natural places are fully protected from unsightly and unhealthy air.
