National Parks Conservation Association Mourns Loss of Senator Craig Thomas
Statement by Thomas C. Kiernan, President, National Parks Conservation Association
"All of us at the National Parks Conservation Association are profoundly saddened by the death of Wyoming Senator Craig Thomas. Sen. Thomas cared deeply about America’s national parks and became an increasingly strong and vital champion for them over the years. He carried out his long and distinguished career of public service with courage and as a true gentleman in every sense. He was a man as tall as the mountains of Wyoming, and we will miss his leadership and his friendship. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Susan, his family, and the members of his Senate staff."
