William Pade Joins Board of National Parks Group

Washington, D.C. – William Pade, a partner at Oak Hill Capital Management in Menlo Park, Calif., has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). The board is the governing body for the nonprofit park watchdog organization.

“Bill Pade’s proven ability to invest in success will serve NPCA and our national parks well,” said NPCA President Thomas C. Kiernan.

William Pade is a partner at Oak Hill Capital Management, a private equity firm in Menlo Park, Calif., where he oversees the firm’s investments in the technology sector. Previously, Pade was a Director of McKinsey & Company, where he served in a number of leadership positions, most recently as the managing partner of McKinsey’s Silicon Valley office.

A resident of Woodside, Calif., Pade has served on the boards of San Jose Tech Museum of Innovation and TheaterWorks, and co-chaired the Stanford University Parents’ Advisory Board with his spouse, Marcia.

Pade’s initial term on NPCA’s Board of Trustees will be for three years.

Since 1919, the nonpartisan NPCA has been the leading voice of the American people in the fight to safeguard our National Park System. NPCA, its members, and partners work together to protect the park system and preserve our nation’s natural, historical, and cultural heritage for generations to come.
