Yosemite Falls

November 11, 2011

Have visited all 55 NP. Wonderful experience traveling by motor home & could set your own pace. Have had the opportunity to learn first hand of the Native American History.. Thanks to Teddy Roosevelt & the visions of our Forefathers. Just seeing the script of the People & carvings of hundred years ago, proves People care. Even the visit to Yellowstone year after devastating fire that actually helped to clear the dead forest brush. Saw small flowers growing up thru the ashes, was a photographers delight. So much hope for the future. Now the small bear that disturbed the skunk he routed out a heavy bush even brought excitement when they ran across road in front of us. Some tourist used the back of car as a shield. How many have ever had a close encounter with a moose? Group coming from small stream and before I could get the noisy window rolled up (car rental with wind-up crank) one lazy looking Moose and very curious I must say, stuck his nose in window. Hadn't seen a dentist for sure-BAD BREATH! Nieces husband's Seguin Family are having a wedding this next week in Yosemite NP. that should be beautiful. Spring has so much beauty. May we convince are Political Leaders how much time & work needs to be maintained and definitely to keep the parks & secure the jobs of the trained Rangers. Would have solid, patriotic citizens if everyone had an opportunity to study our Nation & Nat'l Parks.
