I am an official National Park Service Photographer. A big part of my job is to capture moments of people appreciating our national parks. I am the photographer and the NPS owns the copyright to this picture. It has been made public domain and thus I have the right to give you permission to use it. This image captures Union and Confederate soldiers walking along the sunken road together during the sesquicentennial of the Battle of Fredericksburg.
