All dried up

I had the great fortune back in the late 80's to visit Yosemite and camp out for one night !! My brother lived in Santa Cruz and I took my one week vacation from Rhode Island to California.I still have the photo album with my ticket and lots of real pictures not digital!!! The river was completely dried up back then..When we got to the top,we both took turns standing out on a ledge with a 9000 foot drop..if memory serves me ?!? Not my idea..There was a pay phone at the top ,so we called our Mom in R.I. to say Hi and then see the collect call posted from Yosemite!!! I still have the phone bill.GREAT MEMORIES !!!
