Vanishing History

My grandchild needs to see that we value the struggles we have come through. The fort where Harriet Tubman worked, where civil war slaves were sheltered, must be remembered in our history. Remember, the new majority may be Latins or Asians or another group, but we are all here for the same protections and benefits: the freedom to be full citizens and to value that climb to citizenship and those who paved the way for every immigrant and every eventual citizen.
