Retirement

My husband and I have visited many national parks. Our favorite park is the Grand Canyon where we have hiked all but one of the main trails including corridor, threshold, primitive, and wild. On September 28, 2013, we started down Tanner hiking across the Escalante Trail and out New Hance where we arrived to government shutdown signs! We did a 16 day rafting trip on the Colorado a few years ago. Last summer we realized a dream of visiting Isle Royale National Park. I am retired. My husband retires December 31, 2013. We have our senior park pass, a Road Trek, and plans to see as many national parks as we can. Can't think of a better way to spend our time than this.
