Restore Lake Texoma State Park

Public Parks are targeted for privatization and we need increase funding for all parks to immunize them from unscrupulous developers and the politicians they own. Lake Texoma State Park was once a national park before it was entrusted to the stewardship of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. Now it has been partially privatized by the Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, in violation of the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) Act, NEPA, and the Clean Water Act, for the benefit of Aubrey McClendon's Pointe Vista Development. For Earth Day, we are launching a legal campaign to sue the Corps of Engineers and force them to Restore Lake Texoma State Park to it's original historical footprint and kick Pointe Vista OUT!
